PLASMA CUTTING ARC VOLTAGE WAS LOST DURING CUT LOOP
LS-THC detected that your cutting voltage was lost during the cut. Your program has been paused and the
machine location has been saved. We recommend clicking 'RETRY CUT' below to try this cut again.
Below are the possible causes for this issue:
-
Plasma Cutter Pilot Arc initiated but the cutting arc did not transfer to the plate.
Make sure that your work clamp is connected.
-
Your pierce height or cut height are too high,
preventing the Pilot Arc from transferring to the plate. Decrease these values in your CAM software
post-processor.
-
Tool path intersects or is too close to a previously cut toolpath causing the arc to extinguish mid-cut.
Check your program to make sure that there are no intersecting lines.
Also, check that your lead screw Motor Couplers are fully tightened or you could be losing position and
running over an existing cut.
